Matching Funds

A Matching Fund Request is when a Jaycee organization conducts a community or individual development project and requests a matching funds donation from the Foundation up to a certain amount for that project.

At the time of your request, you must submit the first 7 steps of the project Planning Guide and a proposed project budget as well as the Grant Application for the amount requested

An organization member should appear before the Foundation Board and request a Foundation grant for a matching fund donation for the project.
At the time the Foundation approves the matching fund grant, the amount of the grant will be determined.

Once the project is completed, the local chapter will submit a completed project financial statement and grant request. The Foundation will then issue a check to the local chapter or the named charity for the matching fund amount.

If the matching fund request is for a project that is also a Special Project Sponsorship, the guidelines for the SPS will be followed with the matching fund amount included in the final funds distribution.

At the time of your request, you must submit the first 7 steps of the project Planning Guide and a proposed project budget as well as the Grant Application for the amount requested.
