Board of Directors

The IJCF is administered by a 12-member Board of Directors and meets up to four times each year in conjunction with the Illinois Jaycees General Assembly Meetings. The Annual Meeting is held in conjunction with the Illinois Jaycees 1st Trimester General Assembly.

Board of Directors Election Process

Three positions are filled for a one-year term by the individual holding a designated office including: Illinois Jaycees President, Illinois Jaycees Chairman of the Board and Illinois JCI Senate President.

Nine directors are elected at-large by the regular members of the Foundation at the annual meeting thereof for terms of three (3) years; one-third (1/3) of the Directors being elected at such annual meeting. Candidates for Director must inform a member of the Elections Committee of their candidacy. Candidate filing will close two weeks prior to the annual meeting.

Upon the completion of each election, the four officer positions are election by the voting members of the Board.

The President of the Board has the authority to select a maximum of five Advisors, with Board approval, to fill a one-year term. These are non-voting positions.

Meetings
Anyone having a presentation or a request for funds from the Illinois Jaycee Charitable Foundation should contact the Illinois Jaycees Service Center at 217-529-5379 no later than the 1st of the month in which a Board of Directors Meeting is held to be placed on the agenda for the upcoming meeting.
