Membership in the Illinois Jaycee Charitable Foundation is open to all persons who wish to
support the Illinois Jaycees movement.
Membership in the IJCF shall be open to the public and shall be of four (4) classes: Regular, Associate, Founders Club and Contributor.
Regular Membership: Membership eligibility in this classification shall consist of each person who is a resident of the State of Illinois and: a) who has served a full term as President of the Illinois Jaycees or the Illinois Jaycee Women; or b) who has become a JCI Senator or Congresswomen; or c) who has served on the Board of Directors of the IJCF (mandatory while serving as an elected Board member); or d) who is an Annual or Lifetime member of the Founders Club. Regular members in good standing have a vote in all matters of business during the Annual Meeting. Regular member dues are $50 per year.
Associate Membership: Membership in this classification shall be open to all members of the Illinois Jaycees, by virtue of their said affiliation and work contribution to the Jaycee organization, residing within the boundaries of Illinois and who is in good standing with the Illinois Jaycees. Payment of annual Jaycee membership dues considered for this class.
Founders Club: Membership in this classification is open to all persons, organizations and businesses. Members shall be recognized as Regular Members for the term of the Founders Club membership. Members of the Founders Club may either be an Annual Member or Lifetime Member. Founders Club Member dues are one hundred dollars ($100.00) annually or one thousand dollars ($1,000.00) lifetime. Contact the Executive Director for details of either an annual or lifetime membership.
Contributor Membership: Membership in this classification shall be open to any individual, corporation, business, Jaycee organization, JCI Senate organization or other foundation desiring to contribute funds to the IJCF for the furtherance of its purpose and goals as set forth in its Articles of Incorporation. Refer to Contributing Membership Levels for more details. Contact the Executive Director for details of either an annual or lifetime membership.
Membership Application and Approval: Application for membership in the Illinois Jaycee Charitable Foundation shall be made upon Membership Application form. The Form can be downloaded from this web site. Completed application and applicable dues payment should be submitted to the Executive Director of IJCF. The Board of Directors of the IJCF shall consider any application so made and shall either approve or reject said application at the Board's discretion, after due consideration by the Board of Directors of the applicant's qualifications.
No applicant for membership in the Illinois Jaycee Charitable Foundation shall be denied such membership on the basis of race, creed, color, religion or national origin. Any applicant whose membership application is rejected by the Board of Directors shall have the right to appeal such rejection to the membership of this organization at the next annual or special meeting of the IJCF occurring after denial of said application. Consideration of said appeal shall be the first order of business following the reading of the minutes at any such annual or special meeting of the IJCF.
