Meetings

The Board of Directors of the Illinois Jaycee Charitable Foundation meet four times during the year in conjunction with the Illinois Jaycees General Assembly Meetings. These meetings are held quarterly on a Saturday of each year. The Second Quarter meeting is proceeded by the Annual Meeting of the IJCF.

April 30, 2010 at Decatur Conference Center and Hotel in Decatur, IL (Board of Directors)
May 1, 2010 at Decatur Convention Center and Hotel in Decatur, IL (Annual Meeting)

Anyone having a presentation or a request for funds from the Illinois Jaycee Charitable Foundation should contact the Illinois Jaycees Service Center at 217-529-5379 no later than the 1^st of the month in which a Board of Directors Meeting is held to be placed on the agenda for the upcoming meeting.

Board Member Selection Process

Nine positions on the Board of Directors are filled by the election process. At the Annual Meeting, three positions are filled by election by the regular members of the IJCF for a three year term. Interested candidates must notify a member of the Election Committee between the First Quarter Board Meeting and April 15^th to be officially considered for election. Each of the nine elected members have a vote on the Board. Upon the completion of each election, the four officer positions are selected by the election process by the voting members of the Board.

Three positions are filled for a one year term by the individual holding a designated office including: Illinois Jaycees President, Illinois Jaycees Chairman of the Board and Illinois JCI Senate President. These three positions are voting members of the Board.

The President of the Board has the authority to select a maximum of five Advisors, with Board approval, to fill a one year term. These are non-voting positions.
